Ann-Marie lives in Queensland, Australia and has been making bears since February 2008.
She started collecting Teddy bears several years ago and after purchasing her first artist bear “Smudge” by Chilli Bears and then became interested in bear artistry. After buying several Teddy Bear Magazines she decided to buy a bear making kit from Gerry’s Teddy’s and give it a go not even knowing how to hand sew. After a few minutes with her mum showing her how to back stitch she began and by the end was amazed he actually looked like a Teddy Bear. Ann-Marie hasn’t looked back since and after making several bears and creatures from patterns she began designing her own creations.
Ann-Marie’s creations are quite diverse ranging from cute/traditional style bears, realistic style bears, as well as rats and other creatures.
